DAY 3 – Take Responsibility For Your Thoughts And Feelings

Now that we have discovered a new way to set goals and what it is we are seeking in life, now we need to take action through responsibility.

Taking responsibility means taking charge!

As we have evaluated our emotions, thoughts and feelings surrounding what we want in life or what is possibly holding us back, we have to dig deeper.

It’s not always easy to take responsibility of your thoughts and feeling as we all have lots of different situations that need to be dealt with and you might even feel as if your life is horrible.

But in order to succeed or be wealthy in the future, it is imperative for you to realize the role your thoughts and feelings are playing in your life at the present.

Chances are that there are lots of negative vibrations acting as a magnet to attract more negativity into your life. When you realise how detrimental they are to your own growth, only then will you be able to change your mindset and propel yourself to fortunes.

There are many ways you can reflect inwardly. One of the best exercises you can do is a form of meditation. Find a quiet place away from the hustle of life. Get ready to organise your thoughts and discover new things you didn’t realise about yourself.

Think of it as an interview of your mind. You might be thinking, “I don’t need to do this. I know who I am!” However, you should trust that this step will reveal a lot more than what you may think. Sometimes we may want to disregard this because it feels painful, but if it’s painful, this means there is an underlying problem that only you can resolve.

Spending time to reflect your thoughts will help you rediscover the new things you did not realise about yourself.

This is our focus for today!

How do you typically feel every day?

Stop yourself from having thoughts running around all day everyday. Just grab one single thought as it brushes by and try and analyse it.

Everyday, every second we have thoughts that work on our mind and can be very destructive in the long term.

This can be anything from financial, family, or personal issue that you know often occurs.

Grab that thought and try see what it is that is bugging you. Analyse it to see how really important it is, more importantly, how can you work with it or at leas try find a solution.

It may seem it is impossible, but trust me, nothing is impossible to solve.

Spend some time thinking about each thought and write them down. You can write them on the next page to record your progress.

How are you managing your time?

Procrastination plays a huge factor in working towards achieving our goals. We all have 24 hours in a day, and it’s what we do in those 24 hours that makes the difference.

We often find that we may not have enough time, however, when we stop to analyse where we are wasting time, we then begin to realise where we may be going wrong in life.

All to often we invest time in the wrong things where instead we could put it to better use by investing our time in something worth while.

This could be “lazing around” or even having to redo tasks over and over. Other time consumers may come from not planning your project, tasks or functions correctly.

So without making up excuses to why you don’t have the time, find the reason to how and you can set time aside to ensure you are heading towards your chosen goals.

What is the purpose of YOUR life?

It’s important for you to discover YOUR life purpose and not to discover the PURPOSE of life.

No matter how down you may feel, you have to realise there is a purpose of your life, you just have to find it.

This does not necessary mean “to discover a cure for diseases”, sometimes it’s as important to be there to help others, to teach, to discover or even to learn. Either way, it’s a purpose that you have to discover.

How do you feel about success?

Surprisingly enough, although  we all want to succeed in one way or another, we are often scared of success.

It is not uncommon for some people to fear success. They either feel they do not deserve it or set their “upper limit”.

Many people hold a negative perspective on rich people which can block their energy on becoming rich and wealthy. Negative feelings emanate a lower vibrational frequency.

This underlying reason can either come as guilt, unworthiness or false belief that only other people can succeed. There are even times where we may even feel that success seems like too much work or may cause too much change. This stopping belief is called a comfort-zone, which often is the root cause of most people limiting their potential to succeed.

What motivates you do to certain tasks or activities?

The more you understand yourself and what motivates you, the more you can tap into it.

We all carry a single reason that drives us to achieve small goals or achievements. This comes in the force of drive or passion which once we discover how or what it is, we can then learn to apply this to bigger goals.

Once you understand this about yourself, you can use your time wisely to do the things that uplift and motivate you.

Please complete the exercise on the next page to discover this about yourself.
